Get to know Montauban through the heritage center
The heritage center coordinates all of the Montauban cultural initiatives under the « Cities and Regions of Art and History » banner  and offers exhibitions, tours, conferences and congresses for the local residents, tourists and students. All the guided tours are led by members of the heritage center. Certified by the Minister of Culture and Communication, these qualified guides will unlock the history and mystery, the architecture and heritage of the city of Montauban.

Admission to the exhibition space is free.

Opening hours :
Monday to Saturday : 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 14.00 pm to 18.00 pm.

Montauban City of Art and History

Montauban is part of the national network of « Cities and Regions of Art and History » since 1998.
The Minister of Culture and Communication designates this status to local communities that promote their heritage. It is committed to providing competent, highly qualified guides and scholars who are well versed on the subject of architecture and local historyt and it guarantees the standard of their work.
From ancient ruins to 20th-century architecture, the Cities and Regions of Art and History promotes and celebrates the local heritage in all its diversity.
